All trash collection in Springtown is performed by Duncan Disposal - 817.317.2000.
TO ACTIVATE SERVICE, PLEASE CONTACT CITY HALL.
Residential and Commercial hand pick up service is on Tuesday and Friday. Please place your trash out by the curb at 7:00 am.
Residents may place their trash out in bags or cans. Cans are encouraged to promote cleanliness. Duncan Disposal offers for rental 96 gallon roll off trash cans. The cost for one of these containers is $3.13 per month. We have an example of this container at City Hall if you would like to see what one looks like.
If you notice that your trash has not been picked up or has been missed, please call City Hall the next business day so that we can contact Duncan Disposal and have them pick up your trash.
Duncan Disposal will pick up most anything i.e. mattresses, dish washers, boxes, hot water heaters, refrigerators (CFC's must have been removed and must have sticker on item from a licensed Mechanical Service) and etc on Friday's regularly scheduled pick up. To have these items removed please call city hall prior between Monday and Thursday so that we may notify Duncan that these items will be at the curb on Friday.
Every other Monday the City will pick up piles of brush that a resident has placed by the curb. Brush must be cut up in to managable pieces. Please call City Hall to have your address added to the brush pick up list.
The city currently has a recycle bin located at 501 Martin.
